.... Actually I'm giving up on Tiscali, as when it was Homechoice I got much better service. I've recently had my box do the red/blue flashing light thing four or five times a day. I've rebooted it everytime.. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I've rang tech support, they tweaked my profile, it worked for another hour that evening. The next day it was back to being flakey, so I ring CS, their systems are down, the box says 'we are experiencing a technical fault' then it's back, then it's not. I've had three - count 'em three - boxes in 3 years. What's more in the past I've told friends how good it was... see

I just don't think the technology is robust enough. I've had picture pausing/box flashing on the TV, picture drop out.. all deffo worse since Tiscali took over. Homechoice used to be innovative, the mini-mote, that sort of stuff... now it's just too flakey by far. I've had enough, I've a service engineer coming on Friday to replace the box.. I know it won't solve the problem, but that's all the call centre man's check list allows him to do.
Anyone else had this... and are Virgin/everyone else just as bad?
