Will be looking to get my Pioneer 428XD calibrated soon.....
.....does anyone know someone who can provide this service in the Macclesfield area?

I think all the forums usual suspect ISF calibrators cover all of the UK.

The rules of the forum mean I am not allowed to directly answer your question......
I can tell you that I have to visit clients in Cheshire, Lancashire, Derbyshire North Yorkshire, Devon, Warwickshire and Hampshire in the very near future....so I do get around.

In your honest opinion, it it worth having a 32" Panny TLXD52 calibrated or not, as it's a relatively modest sized display?
Thanks
Mark
p.s. I too am in Macclesfield

In my honest opinion it's worth having any display calibrated. Size isn't relevant. Colour errors and incorrect gamma can be seen from a distance. I recently did a chaps projector in Dublin, he then asked me to look at his two small LCD's in living room and bedroom. He seems happy with results.

Yes, please do! I'm definitely going to get it done once software for G8 is available.

Will do, when's the firmware due?
Where in Macc are you? Roughly, of course, I'm not expecting full address and post code:grin:

Sure: I got fed up with the european support so went direct to source a couple of weeks ago. My last response from them was on Friday saying they were still working hard on a solution for me. So no exact date but I do feel more confident that those at the top are actually working on it rather than ignoring me.
