Hdmi-cec

Hi to everyone,
One question about hdmi compatibility. I have Samsung plasma with Anynet+ function, Sony dvd recorder and receiver with Bravia Theatre Sync option.
Are there communication protocols compatible? Could I use hdmi control functions between Sony and Samsung? Thank for help.

Hello krasny13

Even with a 'same brand' system of separates its hard to predict what will and wont work correctly in terms of HDMI interoperability - once you have a mix of brands involved its impossible to predict what's going to happen until you connect everything up and give it a go.
