Humax PVR-8000T Remote not working

All of a sudden today the remote RT-525 for our 8000T has stopped working. Tried changing battery, turning PVR on and off and holding on-off switch on PVR down for 2 minutes. Still not working. Still get the DTV red light when pressing any button so it is transmitting a signal.

One thing though - the remote did suddenly work again - but only for a few clicks and then stopped working again.


Anyone know how to fix?

Hi

Mine is sometimes obstinate, but usually opening the battery hatch and swivelling the batteries a few times seems to do the trick. It seems to show the red light when pressing buttons even if it fails to respond.
