DVI to HDMI convertion problem

i have a HP Vist Premium PC which has a ATI XT1650 Graphics card.when i run it through my sony lcd tv it never gets an exact match to the screen size or aspect. Tried messing with the display setting on the PC. This didnt help. Could it be anything to do with the dvi-hdmi converter?

Re: DVI to HDMI convertion problem

ill move this to the graphics card forum,as its more suited to that one, rather than Integrated Amps.
