Question Help - Sony HC19E

Help

Borrowed a mates Sony HC19E as I'm looking to buy a camcorder. I've recorded a few minutes of my daughter crawling and then attempted to import the video to my MacBook.

BUT I CAN'T WORK IT OUT!!

Can anyone help, surely it must be easy and I've missed something obvious?

Cheers

Fitz

Re: Help - Sony HC19E

Your best way to connect a miniDV camcorder to a PC or Mac is via firewire. The chances are you will need a 4 pin (camcorder end) to 6 pin (Mac end) cable that should cost under £10 (or beg/borrow/steal one ). This will transfer the video & audio in 100% quality from tape to Mac via iMovie or whatever the Mac software is (I'm a PC user ).

Mark.
