Clue

Yup, its the one released in 1985 which starred Christopher Lloyd.

Does anyone know if this is going to get a R2 release?

I know there is a R1 release on Play.com

Many thanks!

Great movie which works even better on DVD because of the various endings (you can pick whether to have one at random or to see them all, whereas on VHS you only got to see them all).

It's always been a firm favourite of mine and I've had the R1 for a good few months now. I seem to recall paying £15.99 for it from Play so nice to see they've dropped the price by a quid

I can't help asking if there is any particular reason why you're after a R2 copy though? The R1 release isn't half bad and is anamorphic widescreen. Sounds not bad either considering it's mono.

It's a bit of a niche movie with a small loyal audience and these don't tend to get R2 releases unfortunately as they're not priority for the distributors. Never know though.....

I was looking to see if there was a R2 version coming out because I was going to buy a copy for a friend (he has an old TV).

Oh well, just have to buy myself the R1 version and invite them round to watch it.

BTW, I just had a quick search on Ebay and found this!!!

I know that Clue is going out of print but this is ridculous!

It was a DVD thats still sealed. It seems a bit strange as there were others advertised on site for £15 not to mention buying online.

Oh well, at least Im getting a brand new version from Play

The idiots on eBay never cease to amaze me

Mind you, we could always sell ours, make £20 profit, and buy it again

LOL!!!

Ebay is back up and the sellers (who have pretty high ratings) have put "buy now" prices of £25 and £29.99 for the disks.

They state that they are very rare or out of print so idiots will rush to buy them

Last Christmas my girlfriend gave me a list of some old films that she wanted, and Clue was one of them. I had never heard of it, but thoughly enjoyed it! I believe I got my copy from play.
