The recent BBC adaptation of Bleak House looks like it's coming to both HD formats on 22/10.

Haven't been able to find it on any other e-tailers site yet. Hopefully it'll be a bit cheaper though.
Still, whatever the cost, Gillian Anderson in HD! Can't wait! :smashin:

The price differential between BBC productions is amazing, it's almost as if the BBC put content into categories which differentiate between how they believe the public can be exploited.
It's a very good price for a HD product just a shame that pricing structure isn't carried over to other recent BBC content on the old fashioned DVD formats.

ok fair enough, but where the hell is PE??? we have to wait till mid october!
america has had it for yonks... we better get something extra! native framerate being ideal

Not seen any technical specs but wouldn't some of the filming have been done on HD video at 1080p/24 and the 35mm (or other format) done at 24 frames as well?
It would be interesting if the UK HD version was 1080p/25 after all no Tosh hardware currently supports that:)
