You'll love it mate. Does anyone agree with me that the footy on BBC HD has a better PQ than Sky Sports HD? I watched the Man Utd v Reading game on Sunday and it didn't have the "wow" factor I've been used to. Or maybe I've watched so much HD programming that the novelty has worn off?:eek:

nah i think its more to do with the fact the bbc use a much higher bitrate :smashin:

Which they haven't for many months and with all live sport the venue and weather conditions play a part plus the experience of the OB unit covering the event. SS's HD footy has consistently walked all over the BBC's own efforts but perhaps the BBC have finally got the experience required to do a good job after all SKY had a good years worth of real world experience before HD even started broadcasting.

eh? thats the opposite from what ive seen. although i only got to see the world cup on bbc hd not the more recent matches. and when watching football on sky sports hd it looked very poor in comparison.
its the same for sky one hd compared to bbchd too. infact even discovery hd and the rest pale in comparison to bbchd imo. bbchd is just sharper and crisper than the rest (and discovery hd has awful colours for some reason, probably cause its an american channel)
the only problem with bbchd is the lack of content and the fact 8/10ths of the day is promo footage.
