If you have a projector ISF'd what happens if you subsequently need the bulb replacing? Do you need to have it re ISF'd or are the settings still relevant?

The reason i ask is that i now have a PS3 which i will use for BD movies and i want to get the best out of this and my PJ. The dilemma is that i have had my pj (H78) for the past 20 months so dont know how much bulb life is left. I do plan on keeping it until the end of next year, when the warranty runs out, subject to bulb life.

Yes, ideally you should have it tweaked after each lamp change. I, and I'm sure other calirbators, do these re-cals at a reduced rate.

Do the lamp and optics take time to bed in like the phospors on a CRT and plasma? I've just set up a Panasonic AE-1000 for a friend. Should I calibrate it now, or wait until it has 100 hours on it?
