Advice please

What's the more sensible option of these…

A Windows Mobile 6 phone, the HTC v1415 (Vox), with wi-fi, b/t and lots of nice touches, but it's not 3G, so no fast mobile internet access.

Or a Windows Mobile 5 phone, 3G-enabled and HPDSA, with Vodafone Internet packge (£7.50) a month?

With the former I've got a near ideal phone, but I'll have to hunt out free hotspots where I can. (I work and play in Central London)
With the latter, I'm online but paying for internet and the phones themselves aren't so pocketable as the HTC v1415.

One pre-requisite is a QWERTY keyboard. Can't stand stylus' anymore. Of course, I have wi-fi in my home too...

Is there something I've missed? Advice warmly received.

Re: Advice please

I would suggest the Palm Treo 750v (from Vodafone). Whilst it doesn't have wifi, it does have HSDPA (mobile data speeds up to 3.6Mbps), Windows Mobile 5 (an upgrade to Windows Mobile 6 Professional should be provided in the next couple of months), Bluetooth and unlike the other Windows Mobile devices, has heaps of enhancements to make life easier. The great thing about this device is that you can do most things (including typing) one handed.

Palm are also throwing in a free Bluetooth GPS receiver and TomTom mobile if you buy before August 19 2007.

I have the Treo 750 (without the Vodafone enhancements) and I love it. I use it alot to arrange my life. As I am on 3, I am not worried about the fact that the Treo doesn't have wifi as internet access is pretty fast for my needs.

Thanks for the advice. I've just seen the forthcoming Samsung SHG-i620, which looks very promising. Compact, QWERTY keyboard and strong connectivity. Due mid-late August on Vodafone. I think I might hold out for that.
