Just a quick question on denon 3802 signal flag

On films that are EX, DTS-ES, and DTS-Discete, my Signal flag is on auto, the only film i got that triggers the EX flag to 6.1 is Pearl Habour. also i got a few DTS-ES dvds some trigger the flag and some dont ie Gladiator and ET. my question is do i have to set the sound manually or have i missed somethink out in the setup menu.
I did read somewhere on here about this problem but cant seem to find it.
thanks

Hi

Itīs best to leave the Auto Flag Detect Mode - OFF and just manually switch the Surround Backs on & off.

Pearl Harbour isnīt actually a true EX soundtrack, the encoding flag was put on by accident. They left the encoder switched on from the previous film that was being done.

Most films donīt have the EX flag encoded, most of the films encoded in DTS ES Discrete do though.
