Broken HD3--so what next?

I'm distrought, my trusty HD3 all beautiful 20 gigs of it has been dropped, by me. It has been kept in pridtine condition, little leather pouch, three line remote etc....
but now it is gone.

So what do I get to replace it, I looked online to try and source the current model......but where have all the Sony HD players gone!!!!!!!
I love the sound quality and true gapless playback of ATRAC. But it would seem that I am now restricted to a measley 8 gigs. Hmmm.

So here goes,
1) Want gapless playback
2) The same long battery life
3) Since i'm upgrading a radio would be nice
4) Or could I just buy a 20gig hard drive from e-bay and botch a repair?
5) Good sound quality (not ipod)
6) To be able to use my wonderfull remote.

I don't think I have a chance in hell, do you?

Ah well, any ideas anyone?

Gapless playback is (along with sound quality) right at the top of my list too.

Right now, the only option for proper gapless playback is the Ipod. Works well with MP3 and AAC.
