Porcupine Tree Fear Of A Blank Planet 5.1, any good?

Hi all.

Just come across Porcupine Tree's Fear Of A Blank Planet cd/dvd version on ebay. Why didn't I see this when the album was released?

I love the album and am tempted to pay the price for it. But just thought I'd ask if anyone here has it and does it sound good?

I have Deadwing and In Absentia which both sound awesome. But realise these are DVD-A as opposed to DVD-V DTS of Blank Planet.

What do you think?

it's good, but you might want to wait for the DVD-A - in addition to higher resolution, it sounds like there'll be tons of extras. that is due in September so if you can't wait...

the sonics are good considering its 'only' DTS but Steven Wilson does such a good job at the mastering board

on the other hand, if its one of the numbered limited edition then you might want it for keeps anyway.
