Daewoo DWF-28, WONT TURN ON!!!

Hi

We are having problems with our Daewoo DWF-28 Tv. The red stand by light is on and when we try to turn the tv on with either the remote or manually the red lights changes to green for a few seconds but then turns back to red. The tv itself does not turn on and there is not picture at all, although we can hear the 'switching on' sound as if it is coming to life but nothing happens.

You don't say whether it's under warranty or not but there's nothing you can do other than call in an experienced TV engineer.
