Don't bother with lifestyles, waste of a good amp which is the Onkyo 805.
The Kef and velodyne combo sounds interesting.
I have Tannoy floorstanding for mains, matching centre, and matching bookshelf for rears. With a Velodyne VX-10 sub - an oldey but a goodey and well-suited to my room and its placement within the room (behind sofa!).
Anyway, for £1500 the world's your oyster. I would advise you get same as me with the improved Velodyne sub. But then I say that to everyone. Reason: the detail and accuracy and flatline resposne across the frequency range.

Here....minus the sub.....they look super-fine in real life....this was my main concern cos they look boxey in the pics....the grills are curved and smooth so they look so refined.
