Sky+ remote macro to turn on TV

I have just bought a new TV (Panasonic TX-32LXD700) and was programming my Sky+ remote so I could turn on the Sky+ box and TV by just pressing the Sky button as I did previously.

Problem is with the new TV I have to hold down the power on button for about 1 second for the TV to come on. This works fine if I press TV and hold down the power button on the Sky+ remote. If I use the Sky button it doesn't transmit for a long enough period for the TV to turn on. I assume this is because you can set a macro on the Sky button so it only does each code for a brief period.

Has anyone found a way around this or will I just have to put up with having to press 3 buttons to turn things on?
