Please forgive my ignorance................
I am thinking of moving my Virgin Media Broadband modem to a new location in the house.
Is the wire that comes through the wall from outside the house, and then connects to the back of the modem, just bog standard coaxial cable?
If I made an end to end connection with the cable that comes into the house and then into modem using satalite TV standard coax cable and then ran the extended coax cable to the back of the modem on a different floor of the house, would everything still work?
probably stupid questions, but I just want to be sure, before I go running lengths of coax all over the house.
