Hi,

I have :
Panasonic 42" Plasma (Pv500)
Yamaha RX - 1700 (AMP)
Sky HD
Xbox 360
HD - E1 HD-DVD Player (which is also my DVD player)
Squeezebox for music

The Sky HD and HD-DVD player both connect to the amp via HDMI and the 360 connects to the amp by component. I then just have a HDMI cable going from the amp to the TV (there is also a component cable in the wall I could use if I wished).

Since I'm just useing just the 1 Cable into the TV meaning there is only one input to ISF does this make it not worth doing an ISF? Or is this just a slight downside?

Reagarding the audio, looking at the ISF sites it seems you all do proper audio calibration that is at least as expensive as the TV ISF. This isn't really something I want, I don't wish to move my speakers or seating positions around nore do I wish to add things to the walls etc to improve sound quality.

However I don't feel I've set up my system properlly at all, I don't know what settings I should be using, weather my levels are correct, weather my sub should be produceing bass while I listen to music (it doesnt seem to currently) and I'm not sure speech is as clear as it should be, being in a wheelchair fiddling with things isn't easy for me and I don't feel we are geting the best from our sound system, I feel someone who knew what they were doing could help me get alot for a small ammount of effort.

If it is worth me getting the TV ISFed (which should be quite a quick job for only 1 input?) is it possible to also purchase the sort of audio help I'm after? I realise you can't give prices here but is it likely to be expensive?

Thanks for any advice you can give. I'm in Coventry if that matters at all and being in a wheelchair I'm at home nearly everyday.

ISF is about video.
There are however ISF folk w have audio experience and some who have HAA accredation.

I am sure that any of the ISF guys who can do audio will be willing to give you a price to check both at same time.

Even although you only have one input, the fact you are going digital to an HDMI input helps. This is because there is alot less leaway for manufacturers to break the signal levels compared to analogue signals(although there are manufacturers who do do a good job at ****ing it all up)

Hope this is some use
