Hi all, i am new to HTPC's and have managed to get quite a nice spec example from these forums. However i have a question
I have a large collection of DVD's from most regions (mainly 1 and 2) but my dvd drive will not play non uk region discs :( Is there a simple bit of software out there that i can use in my HTPC that will allow me to play all region dvd's without any more hassel. Regards Si:lease:

There are a few such utilities, some more basic ones are free, others cost a small amount .. I use AnyDVD (http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html), one of the paid-for ones, which has many useful features apart from just bypassing the region-coding crap.

:hiya: Give VLC Media player a go, it plays pretty much anything you throw at it
