Using 1 reveiver for 2 rooms.

Can receivers that run speakers in another room actually give 5.1 sound or only stereo. I'd only be using 1 set of speakers at a time and so the main speakers would be off.

Hi

Usually only stereo is available in the second room. If you want a second 5.1 system itīs probably easier just to buy another receiver.
