Projector throw distance

I am considering buying a projector but due to the room it will go into I am unsure what to but.

I require a HD ready machine to go with my wall mounted 43 inch plasma. However, due to the shape of the room the projector has to be ceiling mounted about 5/6 feet from the screen.

As the projector has to be so close to the screen is it worth the effort?

I have read lots of posts on this site and realise that positioning a machine this close will give a small viewing area.

Can anyone recommend a projector that can be ceiling mounted 5/6 feet from a screen that gives a large image?

Check out

It should give you a very good idea about what projector should be suitable for your setup.
