DVD writing software

I have recently bought a new computer which i am very happy with. I have burnt a few video files to DVD in a DVD format some of these files are AVI / DIVX. The problem i seem to keep having is that once burnt the video & sound are not sycned properly is there any software that allows you to adjust this prior to burning or is it just a case of hit or miss ?

Toast is the best DVD app there is for OSX, you could give that a try.

Are you burning as a Data DVD, and playing back on a DVD player with Divx capabilities, or burning and converting a DivX to DVD format (vobs etc)

I am burning from DIVX to DVD format using Nero 7 DVD video maker. I have been using a a PS2 to play the DVD's that could be the problem. I assume using a DVIX DVD player will resolve all problems.

Sounds like you are in the wrong section! This is Apple Mac and Nero doesn't run on Apple Mac...
