VPL-CX1 problems

Hi all,

i have been given a faulty projector by a friend. he had it quoted to be repaired for $1400. Basically it says that it needs a new C board and filter.

I have searched the web and i am after a service manual for this projector so that i can see what a C board is and get a spare and do it myself.

I am very tech savvy so i am confident to be able to do it. i just need to know what part to order.

can anyone point me in the right direction to a service manual or someone in AUS who would be able to provide me with a C board?
