Projecta Cinema, Draper Baronet , Beamax M-Series ???

I've cut my choice of projector screen 82" diagonal, high contrast, Electric with remote to the following :

Projecta Cinema RF Electrol 10101125 £633 CVSMedia
Draper Baronet CE DRP-131076 £414 CVSMedia
Beamax M-Series + Remote 10519/10553 £561 HDMI.co.uk

Has anyone had experience of these or could someone suggest which one I should go for. Personally, I'm tempted by the Beamax and seeing that I'm getting a Markant C-Lift from these I might get a discount.

Re: Projecta Cinema, Draper Baronet , Beamax M-Series ???

Hi

I just had a Projecta Cinema Electrol delivered yesterday. Its the non RF version but then I intend to have it fed from a 12v trigger anyway.

Plus side is that cvsmedia are doing them at a clearance price of £175 delivered which is good in my book

Worth a thought anyway and if you did definitely want RF then you can get the add on kit for 180 quid and thats still 250 odd quid cheaper than you were going to pay anyway

Only thing is its not high contrast but then are you definite thats the way to go

Re: Projecta Cinema, Draper Baronet , Beamax M-Series ???

I saw these were on clearance and when I called them they did me the offer as listed on their site, but as my room is going to be light, ie, light walls and ceilings, then as far as I know, the Projecta Cinema or any other screen needs to be high contrast so that my blacks aren't too washed out.

Could be wrong on this, but I don't think I am.
