Dell

Hi All,

Just some general advice needed really, I have never previously purchased any laptops in the past from Dell however I was going to wait for the new Insipiron models to come out which they know have, now I was looking at maybe getting a Mac Book Pro but they are a bit out of my price range. I am just wondering also does anyone know if the new Inspirons come with Santa Rosa at all?.

Also if anyone has any opinions or advice on Dell it would be greatly appreciated as there are so many companies to choose from just trying to find the right one.

I have always used Windows all my life and from what I have heard Vista eats memory like noones business which is the only thing whats putting me off, as with Mac OSX its very light on resources.

Should I consider Dell as a good option?

Re: Dell

I've recently ordered a Dell XPS M1710 laptop, so obviously I think well enough of them .

The new Inspirons seem to be using the 800MHz Core2Duo chips and offer 8600M GT graphics, they're based on Santa Rosa.
