British Mud

The best Music Festival in the World has to be accompanied by the worst British weather every single year; Glastonbury.

This guy stood in front of us at the Pyramid Stage Friday night whilst watching Kasabian (who were awesome!) and he was pushed in the back by people trying to get past. His Ray Ban sunglasses fell into the sea of mud and quickly disappeared. He tried to find them with his feet with no luck. My girlfriend also looked using her feet and thought she had found them but was no way going to put her hand in the 1 foot deep mud to confirm it. The guy grit his teeth and put his hand into the mud and out came his glasses. We duly asked him to put them on and he did.

Re: British Mud

Great shot - no doubting that it's Glastonbury.

I went year after year until 1997 - the mud was just so bad that year I swore I would never go again. Ended up going for the just a day in 1999 to see REM, in by lunchtime, at home in bed by 1am.. Must be getting old.
