June07 Competition - Voting Here

Well folks that's June's competition over and done with, 60 entries on the theme of Britishness

Well what a month weather wise we've had, started out hot and sunny and ends with torrential rains and flooding, couldn't be anymore British if it'd tried.
I discovered my roof has one or two holes I was unaware of but nothing more, for anyone whose been seriously affected then my heart goes out to you.

Anyway lets get down to the voting.

Thumbnail page is HERE to quickly check on what has been entered.

Prizes on offer

Gordon @ is once agin offering his service for a free ISF calibration, see terms and conditions below

And are once again offering a 10x8 print of the winning shot

And don't forget the winner has the privilege of choosing next months theme

The closing date for votes will be at the top of the poll and don't forget that all votes are public so no voting for yourself also if you have entered a picture then you are expected to vote else all votes accrued by you will be disallowed

Terms and conditions for ISF Calibration prize:
Prize: 1 x ISF calibration
Only available on mainland uk
Calibration will be done when Convergent are already in your area
There is no cash alternative
If winner is outwith mainland UK then if travel costs are covered we will honour the prize

Re: June07 Competition - Voting Here

It's that time again, a slow start with the entries, but they came along in the end, with some crackers as well

My fav three of the month were:-

Netronelson - The effort that was put in, and the end result made it well worth it, really like this one.

Chrisw - Such a good capture, perfectly on theme, might lack the clarity you'd get with a more expensive camera, but the shot is still great.

Tobers - 15 seconds (I bet they were waiting, beeping the horn for you to hurry up really!) and he got such a good shot that really sum's up this summer and the british weather.

But my pick out of the three goes to Chrisw

Re: June07 Competition - Voting Here

I went for wobblebottoms entry. Even though I have a fish phobia and wouldn't eat that meal myself, fish and chips is known throughout the world as British.

Re: June07 Competition - Voting Here

Puli for me, it really shows what britishness is all about, diversity of cultures. Great take on what turned out to be a supprisingly difficult theme.
excellent shot

Re: June07 Competition - Voting Here

Lots of great shots again this month

My favourite 3 are iGiDK, chrisw and PeteB 2000

My vote goes to PeteB 2000's phone boxes. I think it's an excellent idea for the theme and I love the use of selective colour
