Recommend some stands for my MA GS10s

As the title says really...

Would prefer to spend (quite a bit) less than the matching MA branded ones (£250rrp I think).

A height somewhere in the region of 500mm to 600mm would be ideal.

If any stands have a reputation for tightening-up the bass a bit, that would be of particular interest.

Ta.

A pair of Atacama SE6 at £100/pair would be ideal. They also make their own filling material called Atabites which sells for £20 per 9kg tub. One tub per stand would be perfect for the GS10s.

Re: Recommend some stands for my MA GS10s

I recommend you hunt hard and find a pair of stands with 4 legs, one in each corner, preferably extremely heavy too, or at least fillable to make them so...

I have GR10's, but noticed in the shop that the GS10's also worked amazingly on 4 posted stands that were almost as heavy as solid lead...lol.....the sheer scale of sound they achieved sounded more like floorstanders......sadly the shops ones were custom made for the shop and the guy who made them would charge stupid money for another pair

i've been hunting but was made unemployed a while ago so couldnt afford anything even if i found it.....keep contemplating finding an engineer with an arc welder and ask him to rustle something up for me...lol

If you was looking to spend less money then go for the Partington Trophy's:

Re: Recommend some stands for my MA GS10s

Thanks for the other suggestions. Aesthetically, I think I prefer the Partingtons... and I thought the decisions had ended when I picked the speakers!

Never realised that Partington are based in a village a few miles from where I grew up until I looked at their website - probably driven past dozens of times and never noticed.
