can anyone help me ???
Hi - We had the official opening of our new Air Cadet building a few weeks ago - these are the only group photos we had taken and the sun is a nightmare in them - can anyone help ???
I am not too good at photoshop but there must be a way of sorting them - can anyone point me in the right direction ??
Wondered whether I could crop them a bit and add a border to hide the sun ??
Thanks
AJ

Re: can anyone help me ???
Ouch!
A crop and a levels adjustment should sort those out a fair amount. I don't have PS on my work PC but i'm sure someone will sort you out soon enough.

Re: can anyone help me ???
Here's a quick play. Straightened, colour adjusted, cropped and framed.
Edit -> minor change as I noticed I chopped off some feet!

Re: can anyone help me ???
Any chance you shot in RAW? They would be much more salvagable if you did?!!

Re: can anyone help me ???
this is much the same as bursar's without the frame,i just cropped, sharpened, and cloned a bit of the blue in to try and hide the sun some more, having the original file to use would probably get better results.
edit. sorry just noticed original was on your flicker

Re: can anyone help me ???
My quick attempt.
New layer with an exposure of ~-1.5 blended over top. Strongish curve applied and a crop.

Re: can anyone help me ???
had a quick 5 minute bash for you.
Balanced things out a bit - 'borrowed' a little sky detail, added a little contrast.

Re: can anyone help me ???
Wow guys you are fab - got to tootle off to work now - back later and will look at them in more detail
These are amazing - liquid I love what you have managed to do to the sky etc in that one - we really want to get some of these printed out for our cadets and we certainly seem to be getting close to something we can use.

I second that...what a transformation. where did you get that sky from because it's not there in the original.
I see you are moving on from pebbles and beaches onto 'photo touch ups'
