This weeks bundle from Biscuit (56k beware)

Seem to have less time than usual to sit at the computer and put together shots for your perusal, played bowls about 9 out of the last 10 days, am also leaving for work an hour earlier than normal as we are so busy. Anyway here are a few choice ones from around Sudbury / Colchester.

1 - This was due to be my comp entry for this month but decided against it in the end, Sigma 17 - 70

2 - A series of sunset shots precceded by the sun pocking through a cloud, Sigma 17 - 70 then Sigma 70 - 300APO

3

4

5

6 - Last week saw a few canoe drivers playing about and took a few shots, one of which is my comp entry (not shown here), all Sigma 70 - 300APO

7

8 A few macro's now, all once again with the 70 - 300APO in Macro mode, first a co-operative butterfly

9

10 A damsel fly

11 A hungry ladybird eating a greenfly !

12 What struck me about these was actually the shape of the grass seeds - never knew they were serated like that, am going to spend a bit more time (when I can find it) on this sort of thing.

13 - A swan on the stour - he had already hissed at me a few times 70 - 300 again

14 Finally a old pipe with interesting bolts

Hope they are of interest to some of you.

Bill

Nice bunch of shots you have there bud, know what you mean about spending time getting them done too so appreciatte the effort you've gone to

Particularly like the Macro ones, some good results from the lense there. Have you thought about having some bowls related ones? Can imagine you lying on the ground, long[ish] exposure showing the bowl [or is it ball] streaking past you.

#3 is super!

The macro ones are dead shap as well, very interesting with lots of detail.

Hi ya Biscuit.

I know what you mean abot time, not had a chance to get anything in this months compo.

Great set off pictures. Really like the sunset shots and you really have got the best out off the 70-300 for them macro shots. They have great detail and are very sharp.

Cheers Holo
