Adding wireless to G4 iBOOK

My mam is really poorly at the moment and unfortunately is going to be bed-bound for a good few weeks. She has been asking how easy it would be to make her iBook wireless so she can surf the net while stuck upstairs.

I was thinking of one of the netgear packs that include the Wireless modem-router and a USB adapter for the laptop but am unsure if these work easily with OSX?

Any help would be greatfully received.

From a little reading it seems its not worth bothering with usb adapter for OSX and easier just to get an airport extreme card and pick up any wireless modem/router.

Yup ... easy to fit card - will slip in slot under keyboard and should be able to use any wireless network ...
