Took this on the 10th according to the exif, lovely hot sunny day (so far removed from the weather we've been experiencing lately) local fate full of the usual.

Saw this old dear sat waiting for the brassband to set up, no idea where she'd got the chair from as it was the only one

Looking at it now it bares a passing similarity to pixelpixel's entry which is no bad thing in my book

I would of liked to see some more of the band, but as it is, it definitely feels british, even with the french/dutch border

I like your use of the nifty fifty to throw the band out of focus and the flags (buntin) are also a nice touch.

I would have been tempted to either move the old lady or yourself so that she didn't have that man growing out of the top of her.
