Hi my router and modem are really playing up after all this time plus im just about to move.

So i thought what a time to get rid of the old stuff and bring in a new router

looking for N draft router with built in modem this time as my seperates have given me nothing but trouble. I have a belkin Pre-N MIMO and think its miles better than my old G spec so thought the new N1 might be a good investment

also im just about to buy a HP C7180 all in one with wireless but thinking why pay extra just to have wireless when i could get something which can be networked through the router. is this possible or is it best to go for the wireless as i am fed up of having people send me the file then me printing it off for them instead of doing what im doing.

I would also like some kind of NAS device which can allow me to run torrent downloads with it

also anything else i should try and do while im at it?

any suggestions as this is one thing i have no knowledge about and its all going well over my head when looking at different things.

i'd just get a network attached printer, (in fact i did), they tend to be more than happy to talk to multiple operating systems. Either run a cable to the wireless router, or bridge your old G one in to the mix.

I don't have any NAS devices, so i can't really help you with that, but i'd suggest that going wired will solve you a lot of hassle with those.

actually brought the C7180, got it cheap, and it works GREAT, can be hardwired into the router which is great

will hold off on the new N stuff until i move in

just the NAS device to go
