A nation of animal lovers

Last minute 'god I am desperate' entry. After seeing all my ideas used and done better than I ever could, I came up with this entry after my brother in law asked us to help him out with an abandoned cat he found.

I was called in to take pictures to create the found posters we made (we haven't used this one!) and my wife has set off to knock on doors in the area to try and locate its owners. Wish us luck (cos I don't want another cat-we already have two!)

Exif should be there. Only PP work was the convert and resize using Elements.

In case exif isn't...

Canon EOS 350D
Exposure:0.004 sec (1/250)
Aperture:f/4.5
Focal Length:18 mm
ISO Speed:100

And if it adds to the Britishness theme I am wearing my Union Jack boxers....

What a cute cat. Not sure if the picture is "british" or not, but we are definately a nation of animal owners. I have 3 cats, 5 lizards and 15 fish lol.

Lovely photo hkuk. There's something 'just right' about it.
Even though it doesn't communicate the theme, it certainly does capture an element of it. Nice one.
I think I'm going to have to submit my 'safety net' photo as I can't see me having any time tomorrow to get another

Nice capture of the cats expression, but it does not immediately stand out as
British without your explanation though, good photo anyway

Just as a update. The kitten has been reunited with its owners!

Re: A nation of animal lovers

I like the photo and the pp has been well chosen, your explanation makes sense about being animal lovers, just think its stretching the theme a tad form most people, pity the theme wasnt cats in b/w
