KEF 5005.2 Or similar, Opinions Please.

Hi,
I am in the process of upgrading my AV kit,new Plasma,DVD,Speakers,e.t.c

I have found a retailer who could do the KEF KHT 5005.2 in a 6.1 config for £1070.
Question is,
Are there any equivalent speaker packages for similar money that would look and sound as good as the KEF's,and complement a Pioneer 508.

I am more than happy to lay out £1070 for the 6.1 setup,as that is the best possible price that I have managed to get them down to,and I think that they would look fantastic with the new panel.
But if anyone could point me in the direction of another manufacturer that has a similar speaker design, and for less money I would appreciate it.

Mark-UK could you also let me know too, I'm looking at changing from my Bose set up to the KEF 5005.2 (5.1) speakers (possibly the wireless rear speakers up-grade kit as well)

And the new Sony 5300ES Home Theater Receiver with the new Sony KDL-46X3000 or X3500, moving home soon so new kit

I thought the 5005.2 was the SE, the 3005 was updated to 3005SE and the 5005 was updated to the 5005.2 ? Could be totally wrong.

Monitor Audio Radius r225 & r250 are both better speakers than the 5005.2 IMO

My preferred setup for that shape of speaker would be

MA R250 for centre channel, MA R225x2 for front surrounds, MA R180x2 for rear surrounds. KEF wireless thing to make rears wireless!

creative-audio.co.uk do the 5.1 package for £999 if your buying one of the new Onkyo receivers.

6.1 for £1070 is a pretty good deal, I'd like to know where from also.
