Help Lighting installers

Can anyone point me in the direction of recommende lighting installers in high wycombe area. I need to install lightin in my hall and tv/cinema room. I would like to use the opportunity to retrofit lighting in other rooms. Ideally I would like this to be the beggining of home automation so would like a system that could later be integrated with audio, ?video and maybe pc control.

Thanks

Re: Help Lighting installers

both really. For the hall simple 12v halogen downlighters but for cinema room I need lighting design with 12v halogen and perhaps wall lights and maybe even some ceiling led's for when all the rest of the lights are dimmed. Also would like lightin control for thes zones and later for others. A control system which could the control other things such as audio in multiple rooms as I am also looking at multiple room audio soloutions. Would like to switch on outside lights on and off at various times etc etc

Re: Help Lighting installers

is this a rewire? or retro fit? If its retrofit the Rako is about your only option mate, If your rewiring then you have more options some can integrate AV but you can integrate lights to the AV system or AV to the lights so you can look at more than justlighting systems with Audio options.

Re: Help Lighting installers

Will only be rewiring the areas involved for downlighters.

Could Rako then be used to integrate with a system (which one?) to say at the push of a button turn on tv, dvd, dim lights and close a motorised blind?

Thanks for taking an interest.

Re: Help Lighting installers

yes it can Rako is ideal as it allows you to add control of other circuits in other rooms if desired without rewiring. so you could add the hall lights etc if desired. Rako in conjunction with a remote control can do what you ask it just depend show much you want to spend £300 + programming on a remote will do it (perhaps consider spendign a little more). Or Rako will integrate to a whole house control system if required to allow for whatever you want really.

Re: Help Lighting installers

YOu may well find your blind is already controlled with Rako (it wont say Rako on it but Rako supply the controllers to many curtain/blind companies)
