With a lot of proud patriotic views of Britishness I though I should counter with something that shows a less rosy view of Britain, although lifted by what in my view is a very great British institution in the Big Issue.

I like your take on the theme and it is one of the sadder sides of this country
Shooting from the low angle is good but if I were to be picky, the reflections in the glass and "VIV" (HMV I guess...) are a bit distracting for me.

Excellent idea that fits the theme, but does not seem to have much impact.
Its very difficult to capture a great picture of a stranger in the street, unless they agree to pose giving you time to think about exposure and composition though.
