Freeview available once Analogue switched off..?

Hi,

Probably a bit of a daft question this but having just bought a LG22LS4R with Analogue tuner, I was wondering the following...

When the Analogue switch off occurs in "2008", will we all still be able to use the TV's with the Freeview boxes picking up the Digital Signals?

All 3 of my TV's in the flat have a freeview box attached, linked either to the rooftop aerial or other internal aerial in the bedroom, will all 3 of these need to be replaced or will we still be ok with the freeview boxes to pick up TV?

Cheers

Re: Freeview available once Analogue switched off..?

All that's being changed in the big changeover, is that analogue broadcasts (the "old" channels 1....5) will be turned off.

Digital transmittions (Freeview) (including digital Channels 1....5 and all the rest) continue as at present (aside from the ever-ongoing routine line-up changes). Any TV accompanied by a Freeview box, that can currently receive digital transmissions, will continue to receive digital transmissions.

Power of transmissions may increase.

Thanks for clearing that one up for me
