Anybody own Philips PET835/00 or Nextbase SV185-SD?

I have DVB TV recordings from, a Topfield PVR, which have been converted to mpeg2 (program stream) with extension .mpg, and vr-mode dvd-rw's that were copied from from my Pioneer PVR hard drive. Can someone confirm if both types of recordings can be played on the Phillips PET835/00 or Nextbase SV185-SD. If not, does anybody know of any other TFT colour LCD players?
