USA Europe Satnav

I need a Sat Nav system that I can use in both Europe and USA I have seen 2 the TT 910 and the Nuvi 270 my problem is choosing of course but also I have seen prices range from £224 to £400 why the big difference am I missing something is there different systems does TomTom 910 have different specs.

I can thoroughly recommend the Garmin 670.
It comes with UK european and USA maps already installed.
It has Safety (Speed) Camera warning installed (free for 6 months)
Bluetooth capability if you have a suitable mobile phone.

I have used this Garmin in the USA, I.o.M, England and Wales this year and found it to function perfectly. A real test in New York when I doubted it, I spoke for it and said, "Trust me I'm a Garmin"

i dont need Europe but I do need one for the US and the UK - i do not mind swapping maps etc but which is the best.

Do I buy something in teh US and then buy UK maps or the other way round or get both.

And which one?

The Garmin 670 is my first Sat Nav unit and I am well pleased with it.

It came with:

City Navigator Europe NT V9. ( This includes the UK )
City Navigator North America NT V8.

They are available on the Garmin website and I believe the Garmin Customer Helpline is very user friendly.

If you need Maps for anything other than Garmin, there maybe other lower cost options
