Re: Britishness
Great shot - looks like a lovely afternoon for a prom. The frame doesn't do much for me, but at least it has flags

Re: Britishness
I was down in Brighton with Mrs Tobers & kids at a relative's party. When we left, I persuaded them that a drive down to the seafront was in order. I parked on a padestrian crossing, jumped out with the camera, fired off a few shots as I got soaked, and jumped back in the car again. 15 secs tops

Re: Britishness
Ah yes, but I was on a mission .
All I need now is a weather-proofed camera! 1D Mk3 please Santa.
Forgot to add post processing info. I cropped and adjusted the levels with Photoshop to darken the clouds a tad, and then added the border.

Re: Britishness
Great picture. Has the flags, and every1 recognises good old Brighton.
Also good, to see someone taking a picture of where I live :D

Re: Britishness
Great Shot Tobers.
Worth the trip to the seafront.
Photo sums us Britishness perfectly - Rain, rain and more rain.
The two flags on the pier is a lovely touch.
The woman with her kids must have been crazy taking a walk along the beach but she put the finishing touches to your photo . Very nicely composed.

Re: Britishness
