what SAT NAV??

Just about to sell my Primera with factory DVD Sat Nav.

The replacement car doesn't have any sat nav and it will be greatly missed, so I need a portable sat nav unit.
There are so many out there I don't know what to buy. My Dad has a Navman and seems pleased, but have read negative things about them. Also a colleague has a TomTom, but have read that the maps are not accurate.

Not bothered ab out MP3 or bluetooth etc... and only need UK maps.

A combi unit that has Speed camera locations would be nice.

any recommendations?

Maps are always a way behind with all units really, i've had a Tom Tom Go 500 and now i've got a 510 (i believe the 520 is on the way too). I've got the latest map on my 510 and pretty accurate & i do a lot of miles too. The speed cameras from pocketgpsworld are excellent, i've got the speed zoned ones on mine so not only does it tell me what camera is approaching it also tells me the speed limit. A couple of my colleagues have Navman & Garmin units, they both agree the Tom Tom is better.
