Freeview reception from Sutton Coldfield

About the time that Sky removed channels from cable tv, my TV with integrated freeview was having problemd receiving Sky Sports News and Sky News, this was causing audio breakup and no video.
I have re-tuned my TV several times and the associated channels have now dissapeared from the channel lineup.
I have check the aerial test page on teletext P284 for all of the terrestrial channels as recommended, and the test picture is perfect.
I have checked the incomming signal strengths from my local transmitter at Sutton Coldfield and have obtained the following results.
MUX1 - 48.7dBuv
MUX2 - 50.8dBuv
MUXA - 47.9dBuv
MUXB - 44 dBuv
MUXC - 40.4dBuv (of which the above Sky channels are loiacated)

Can anyone provide any further assistance or advice ?

Re: Freeview reception from Sutton Coldfield

The aerial is about 10 years old and is mounted on the roof.

Re: Freeview reception from Sutton Coldfield

Sutton Coldfield requires a Group B aerial for digital which will be the same group as was needed for analogue. You do not need a wideband aerial for this transmitter

However, it may not be sensitive enough; or it may be that your downlead isn't in good order. The most common fault, though, is in the flylead between the wall and the receiver, and this is the first thing to look at.
