Sony DRU-700A faceplates or replacemnt

I currently have a Sony DRU-700A DVD±RW (+R double layer) - IDE - internal - 5.25"

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-DRU-700.../dp/B00029TKEQ

which I have always been very happy with - no toasters, no issues. Except I have lost the black face plate and I've just transferred my pc into a lovely shiny Antec Nine Hundred case and the beige dvd drive is ruining the look!!

So, does anyone know where I can buy a black faceplate for this (tried ebay but no luck) OR an equivilent dvd drive that will do all the same stuff (and anything else that might be a bonus nowdays).

I'd go with Sata now rather than IDE and was looking at this Samsung SH-183LBEBN 18x18 DVD±RW Dual Layer Serial ATA Lightscribe ReWriter (Black) - OEM

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=CD-084-SA

Last time I bought a dvd drive (3 years ago!) if you wanted flexibility in what kind of dodgy things you burn, you had to check all this 1 sheep 2 sheep rating and would it burn dvds that dvd players would read etc....nowdays are things simpler? Would the Samsung "just do everything"?!? or do I need to research massively as to which exact model to buy?

Thanks!!
