The Pioneer VSX-LX50 or Onkyo TX-SR705

Hi All,

I'm looking to upgrade my denon 3802 to one of the above amps. I have a budget of around £600 - £800 and want an amp that can do the following.

I want to connect to it the following:
PS3
XBOX 360
WII
Cable BOX
SKY HD
MVIX MX-760HD

And have it go to my Pioneer 507XD via HDMI and Epson TW10 projector via VGA or component.

Will either of these amps upscale all the above to 1080P on both the projector and plasma.

Also will i notice much of a difference by upgrading my Denon 3802 or will this be a stepdown in sound performance?

For that price (600 - 800) you could from an independent retailer get the Onkyo 875 for a little bit extra, but definetely the 805

Will the 805 do all i need? cant really stretch beyond £800. Unless someone could take the nagging WIFF as Part ex.
