Good cheap Web Design and Graphics Packages

Any recommendations anyone?

Dont need anyhing amazing, have been using Frontpage and Photodraw on XP but since moving to a MacBook I need something new.

For web design, try nVu (www.nvu.com) its WYSWIG and free.

here is Photoshops best and free rival, never used it my self but i hear nothing but good reviews form other friends involved in graphics/photo editing
