Hi all. Does anyone know if the Open Golf Championship will be covered by BBC HD next month?. I hope so after watching the sky sports hd coverage of the US Open last weekend.

I don't think it will be m8.:thumbsdowIt wasn't listed as one of the programmes that will be shown when the HD shows coming up for summer were listed.The Open doesn't get a mention.

I would have thought that the Beeb would have covered it in HD, I still have my fingers crossed for it. The US Open was, without doubt, the best HD golf coverage I have seen so far - would like to see if the Beeb could match their American counterparts.

Not as far as i remember. This years masters was the first golf i saw in HD (since i don't have sky sports HD).
Would be great if it was in HD, but with all the infrastructure required i'm sure it would have probably been mentioned in the summer highlights announcement previously posted.
