PC VGA to HDTV Question

Hi Folks,

I have got my Panasonic TH37PX60 connected to my media centre PC via VGA. The PC has the Intel 945 graphics system onboard which is capable of running HD content.

My question is this - my resolution at the moment is the Plasma's native 1024x720. Will HD content be displayed correctly at this resolution, or for optimum performance do I need to get a different graphics card and output a higher resolution e.g. 1366 x768??

NB - I've just found a setting on my TV that allows me to select a resolution of 1366x768 so no need to answer. Thanks anyway.
