Connecting recvr, vol control and speakers
I have a Sony STR-DA2000ES Receiver (8ohms), an in-wall volume control(VS160 impedance matching by speakercraft) and a set of Bose 161 speakers, rated 4-8ohms. I'm stressing about 4ohms vs 8ohms, setting switches in the receiver and/or the volume control and frying my receiver .. Obviously I have speaker cable running from the receiver to the volume control and from the volume control to the speakers.
I think I'm good to go just connecting everyone and powering up but..... Is there an audiomesiter out there that might confirm? Please. Pretty please. Many thanks. |
